Strangely enough my comments have nothing to do with movies but TV shows and that's because I'm so happy to have found somebody who agrees with me about a couple of things:
THE OFFICE: For the life of me I can't understand why everybody keeps insisting that this show is so hilarious. It must be me because I've seen about three or four episodes and I didn't crack a smile once. It's so slow moving and so smugly self-aware about how cute and clever it is that it turns me off completely.
FAMILY GUY: The only reason I still watch FAMILY GUY is because I'm too damn lazy to cancel the Season Pass on my DVR. I'm thinking of buying the first two seasons on DVD and that's it as in the last year the show has become practically unwatchable. The last episode that I thought was actually funny was "Patriot Games" and that was mainly because of the "Shpoopi" number from "The Music Man" You nailed it right on the head about everything that's wrong with the show.
