This week on Bend the Media, Parker reviews Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and The Prestige. Bend the Media 14: Friend in Need, Friend Indeed Short Film Commentary

(39 downloads)

Download this episode (13 min)
This week, I want to give alternate commentary a little try. It turns out that I don't need to take the hiatus I mentioned (at least this week). As some of you know, I'm known as GetintheBag32 (goofy name, I know) on YouTube, and through YouTube, I came across a DIY track dolly video made by a user, Ryan3078. He used it to make a short film (Friend in Need, Friend Indeed) some time ago, and has released the "Director's Cut" about a month ago. For what it was, I thought it was pretty good, and I couldn't resist doing a commentary for it. So before you download the cast go to this address in a new window:

After I count down, press play and enjoy the commentary.

Bend the Media 13: Rankin/Bass Christmas Marathon

(67 downloads)

Download this episode (35 min)
In this cast, Parker takes a look at 4 of the Rankin/Bass produced stop-motion Christmas specials. I will be taking a 3 week hiatus, so I can have time to commit to my YouTube subscribers, and to experiment with new camera tricks. But don't forget to vote for me on PodcastAlley, purchase some Bend the Media Gear at Cafepress, and check out my friends @ Better in the Dark, Cool (Shite), Cinnemaslave, DVDPodBlast and 64bitgamer.
